Abstract

Javier Tomeo’s Pecados griegos is a peculiar recreation of Fedra’s myth that remains faithful to the facts but unfaithful to their meaning. Thus, the appropriation of features, the conception of the plot as an anecdote or the deliberate use of anachronism allow for an unusual approach to the phenomenon of recreation and a deeper insight of Tomeo’s idiosyncratic universe.
