Abstract

We have analyzed, by the means of lexical frequencies, statistics and algebraic models, three pieces of work attributed to Cervantes and we conclude the following: the comedy La conquista de Jerusalén was written by Cervantes (circa 1585), as
Stefano Arata had claimed; the entremés «Los habladores» is also Cervantes’ (ca. 1605) and the auto sacramental La Virgen de Guadalupe was written by Lope de Vega (ca. 1590).
